Final Major Project of year 2...

My theme and starting point was Alice in Wonderland and threw in ALOT of feminism and poetry and growing up symbolism. Enjoyed it a lot, and it was nice to get to think about fashion in a very contextual way.

The First picture is Alice when she is young. white/virginal. Innocence. Fresh.
The second is the Queen. She is in the prime of her life. Think fiery red passion. Lust and sex. She is having her cake and eating it too.
And the third is the Mad Hatter. Cast as a women in my project. She is demure and more sensible. Lessons have been learnt.

For this project I looked at Emily Dickinson poetry, feminism, Roni Horn, colours and of-course, Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol.
